Per the request of my sister, I am updating this again!
What better way to start this off than by posting a new picnik picture!
This weekend was Chris's formal with his fraternity Theta Delta Chi! It was great time. We had dinner and this really pretty restaurant called The Iron Gate, then went back to the house to hang out. It was like prom all over again, but this time, I got to go with Chris. :] I got ready beforehand with some of the other girls (picture will be in the next post) at DePauw, and then we drove back to Wabash. Perfect way to begin wrapping up the school year, can't wait for the summertime!

Wabash

This past weekend I took another trip to see Chris at Wabash

College. Normally I drive to my house, then the next continue driving to Wabash. This weekend I drove straight through, 5 hours. Pretty solid, I was proud of myself. But I loved getting to spend the time with Chris, and getting to hang out in the house with his brothers who are awesome as well. I also got to hang out with the other girls of the house. All in all it was a fabulous weekend, just not long enough of one.

I know, I know, this post is far overdue. With that said, I now present you:

Valentine's

Day

I had a wonderful very first Valentine's Day. Earlier in the day I went with Mom to get our hair cut, and I ended up dying my hair back to blonde, and vowing never to touch it with dye again! After that I went home and got ready for Chris to come over. :] We hung out at my house for a while, and then went to The Nora Cafe for Italian food and come chocolate cake. We came back and watched October Sky and talked. It was a perfectly laid back and awesome day, just the way I wanted it. Chris made me some awesome cookies and got my a card. All in all, a great day!

This, my friends...

Is what we call,

a fail pizza.

Idol Night (American Idol) has now become Betsy and my beloved Idol and bacon pizza night. We asked Meredith if she wanted any, and because she wanted pepperoni, we decided to try something. We asked them if they could make the whole pizza bacon with two slices of pepperoni, and to our suprise they said yes! Everyone would be oh so happy with our delightful pizza perfection. No only that, but for some reason, we got a $5 coupon off the price. We got the pizza ran upstairs to eat it, and low and behold, 2 pieces of bacon, and freakin' whole pepperoini pizza... FAIL PIZZA. It's ok though, we still had fun making fun of people and enjoying some awesome vocals.

3rd Time's a Charm

So, after 3 attempts, I am finally in a dorm that I love. I live in room 606 now with Betsy, Meredith, and Erica and I couldn't be happier! All three of us are out of control and crazy, but most of all, we get. We can read each other so well, and I love when I come home after a long day of classes and work and can just sit and be happy with my best friends. We think the same things are funny, and none of us care if we look silly. Now the segue to my picture.

These, my friends, are TUMMY TICKLERS! We think they are so awesome and refill them and drink out of them all the time! These actually are our new ones and we're pretty darn pumped! Betsy's is Giselle (left), I have Pip (middle), and Mer has Prince Edward (right). We love them and I thought they would be a perfect fit for today's blog post. Well actually today there will be two, because it's so late. Double the fun!

Skype-tastic!

Since the day I discovered skype I have been ever so thankful. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't talk to some people. I talk to Chris, my parents, Stephanie, and a host of friends. It makes me so happy to actually be able to see them smile or make faces at me that I couldn't hear through the phone. I love that I get to see Hewbaby and all the new things he does. I love that I get to see my parents and my house that I miss so much. I love being able to joke around with my friends, and show them different things here at MSU.

Mmmmm coffee...

After a long day of work and classes , Betsy and I decided we deserved a nice hot cup of coffee & a nice lay in the tanning bed. So we trudged through the snow with our backpacks full of books, to the dorm, got ready, and left. Our first stop was the tanning bed. Normally the beds are super hot before you even get started, but I got put on a whole new side of the building that was freakin' freezing and had the City of Morehead news coverage. When I was getting dressed to leave I got all filled in on the recent deaths, so not much jammin' occured while I was gettin' my tan on. Afterwards we hit the The Fuzzy Duck, our local coffee shop. We got our usual Mocha Joe's and discovered a puzzle that was pretty much impossible, but we were pretty proud of our work.

SNOW DAY!

I thought, when I started college, it was a good thing I wasn't too spoiled with snow days at Chatard. I wouldn't expect much here, little did I know that in the span of two weeks I would get 2 two-hour delays and 2 snow days! It started snowing yesterday around noon and continued on through the night. At about 9pm they called for a two-hour delay, and by five we were all FREE! And while the other kids are out playing in the snow Meredith and I decided to spend this glorious occasion in a different way. We celebrated with a

HARRY POTTER MARATHON!

No worries, we also drank coffee, Mer slept, and I worked on this glorious blog of mine. I have to say that I started off this whole "a picture a day" thing great and I'm going to really try and keep up with it! Thanks Stephanie, I hope you approve of the new layout!
